Non-traditional student support group

Are you a parent, working a full-time job, a little older than the average student-or all of the above? If yes, CAPS is holding a support group for non-traditional students to connect with one another to explore the unique challenges and strengths that can occur when returning to college as an adult learner. Being a student and a parent

This workshop focuses on challenges of being a parent and a student. Participants will be helped to explore the challenges of meeting family and academic obligations and learn how to balance the competing responsibilities of being a parent and a student. Stress management

Being a non-traditional student presents unique challenges and unique stressors. How do you negotiate the college system to find support and connections, develop effective learning strategies, and balance the many obligations in your life?
