Social Work Practicum Education Description:
CAPS offers an unpaid part-time (20 hours per week) practicum education to masters level social work students in area training programs. Trainees can expect to carry a caseload of 6-8 individual therapy clients and will gain experience in conducting brief assessments with students seeking CAPS services for level and urgency of need. Practicum education starts in September and runs for two or three consecutive semesters depending on trainee's academic program.
