Social Work Practicum Education

Social Work Practicum Education Description:

CAPS offers an unpaid part-time (20 hours per week) practicum education to masters level social work students in area training programs. Trainees can expect to carry a caseload of 6-8 individual therapy clients and will gain experience in conducting brief assessments with students seeking CAPS services for level and urgency of need. Trainees also have opportunities to co-lead psychotherapy groups and outreach workshops for CAPS.
